Fragile Existence: Coral Reefs in a Changing Climate

This sculpture series focuses on three distinct coral reef ecosystems: the Caribbean, the Hawaiian Islands, and the Indo-Pacific. By comparing each location in pristine (left) and disturbed states (right), the sculptures highlight both the common challenges and the unique local stressors affecting each coral reef environment. Take note of the changes in biodiversity, size, and structure between the states of the reef in each location.
